Akcja anime rozpoczyna się, kiedy główny bohater – typowy nowicjusz, grający pod nickiem Haseo, pada ofiarą PKerów, czyli po prostu graczy, którzy parają się zabijaniem innych dla czystej przyjemności. Pomocy udziela mu Ovan, zwierzchnik „Twilight Brigade” – gildii poszukującej tajemniczego Key of the Twilight. 7 wrz 2006 24mTabby starts a new healing guild, but so far they haven’t had much success. Tohka points out that their levels are way to low to help anyone, and demands they go out and raise them. Haseo finally makes an appearance in town, and Phyllo warns him about the dangers of being single-minded.
