WatchNext is a personal AI guide for movies, series and anime. You describe what you are in the mood for in plain words, and the AI recommends titles — remembering what you have already watched, what you liked and what you did not, so the suggestions get better over time.

Streaming services recommend what they have licensed; WatchNext covers over 1.5 million titles across every service and tells you where each one is available. Unlike a general chatbot, WatchNext keeps a taste profile: it never recommends something in your Watched collection, respects the genres you dislike, and can add titles to your collections for you.

Yes. Chat, collections, tracking and social features are free. WatchNext Pro is an optional subscription that removes ads in the mobile app and gives you more and better recommendations.

No. The website has the full experience: AI chat, collections, profiles and reviews. The iOS and Android apps use the same account, so your chats and collections are everywhere.

The AI replies in the language you set in Settings, and title details follow it too. The website interface is currently in English; the mobile app also has Ukrainian, German, French, Polish and more.

Your collections (especially Watched and Watchlist), the genres you marked as liked or disliked, whether you want 18+ titles, and the conversation history of the current chat. You can change all of it in Settings, and deleting your account removes it.

The AI only excludes titles from collections marked "Don't recommend these titles" — by default that is your Watched collection. Add the title there and it will not come back. If it keeps happening, tell us via the contact page; it helps us improve.

That is the point. "A slow-burn Korean thriller under two hours, nothing gory" works far better than a genre filter. You can also refine after an answer: "less violent", "more recent", "only series".

No. Nobody can pay to be recommended, and we do not earn commissions from streaming services. Where-to-watch data comes from JustWatch; title data and images come from TMDB.

Yes. On Letterboxd go to Settings → Import & Export → Export your data and upload the ZIP at watchnext.ai/import; your diary (with dates and rewatches), ratings, reviews, watchlist and lists come over. From IMDb, export Your Ratings as a CSV — we match by IMDb id, so it's exact. You can also paste any list of titles, one per line. Titles we can't match are shown so you can pick the right one. Importing never posts anything to your friends' feed.

Yes. Settings → Data → Download my data gives you a ZIP of CSV files — diary, ratings, reviews, watchlist and collections — in a format other services (including Letterboxd) can read.

Reviews and public collections are visible to everyone, including people without an account — they help others discover titles. You can make any collection private in its settings; private collections are visible only to you and collaborators.

Settings → Delete account, on the website or in the app. This permanently removes your profile, collections, reviews and chat history. Can't sign in? See watchnext.ai/delete-account. Chats are also deleted automatically after 30 days of inactivity.

No. We use your data only to run the service and improve recommendations. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

No ads in the mobile app, deeper searches with more recommendations per request, and better matches powered by our best models. Pro applies to your account everywhere, including the website.

Subscribe on watchnext.ai (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal) or inside the iOS and Android apps. Cancel any time: web subscriptions in Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription; store subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Web purchases come with a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment — see the Refund Policy. Store purchases are refunded by Apple or Google under their rules.

Log out and log in again on the website; subscription status is refreshed on login. If it still shows Free, contact us with the email you used in the app.
